Reuse & Repair Centre · Since 1998
Sydney's award-winning environmental charity working together to create a circular economy. Three stores, repair cafés, DIY workshops, bike repair, e-waste recycling, and community outreach — all under one powerful mission: keep good stuff out of landfill.

The Bower is an award-winning environmental charity with strong outreach into the social sector. Through their activities, they reduce waste and CO₂ emissions, reduce ecological footprint, and connect communities. For over 25 years they've pioneered waste reduction through the reclamation of thousands of goods — made available at affordable prices through workshops, repair cafés, bespoke recycled materials, and more.
They work with frontline charities to ensure vulnerable people — refugees, those escaping domestic violence, the homeless, and those with disabilities — get access to quality goods and practical support. A true living example of the circular economy.
Three locations across Sydney — Marrickville, Summer Hill, and Redfern — stocking reclaimed furniture, homewares, books, records, paintings, games, bikes, and more at affordable prices.
Every Thursday at 109 Redfern, The Bower Repair Café hosts Furniture Repair, Bicycle Repair, and Clothing & Textile repair groups. Free drop-in sessions to fix what you have.
